Undergraduate Scholarships and Bursaries

The School of Computer Science offers scholarships for students wishing to study for an undergraduate degree in a Computer Science subject. Scholarships are awarded to students who have, or expect to achieve, excellent academic results and are available to students in the following programmes (which include Year in Industry and Study Abroad variants):

UK/EU Students

We offer a number of Scholarships for UK/EU applicants.

International Students

We also offer a range of International Scholarships to applicants studying outside the UK/EU.

BP STEM Scholarships

This year BP will offer scholarships to up to 10 first year students studying at the University of Birmingham. Each scholarship is worth up to £20,000, with scholars receiving £5,000 per year for the duration of their degree (up to four years). These scholarships are intended to encourage and support students with a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and first year Computer Science students will be able to apply.
