Departmental seminars are public seminars, aimed at academics from Computer Science and other areas. Anyone is welcome to attend. The seminars are usually reports of research but occasionally address other matters such as the teaching of CS, CS applications in industry, ethics and national policy. They quite frequently cross between disciplines and can even be focussed on another discipline, with the relevance for CS highlighted.
