A large programming project using Java. Students work in teams of about five people.

Teaching Methods:

12 hrs lectures/tutorials, 60 hrs practical sessions (mainly in the student's own time)

Assessment

  • Supplementary (where allowed): As the sessional assessment
  • Continuous assessment (100%) (report, practical demonstration). Normally students who fail can be reassessed only by repeating. Nevertheless, students with marginal failures may be permitted to do additional work instead of being required to repeat the module.
