Outline

A large programming project using Java. Students work in teams of about five people.

The aims of this module are to:

Teaching

Teaching methods:

18 hrs lectures/tutorials, 60 hrs practical sessions (mainly in the student's own time)

Assessment

Continuous assessment (100%). Normally students who fail can be reassessed only by repeating. Nevertheless, students with marginal failures may be permitted to do additional work instead of being required to repeat the module.

The continuous assessment consists of a report and a practical demonstration.
