| Description | The module allows the student to complete a year of study related to computer science in an approved institution in another country. Such study may include a component of the language of instruction, where this is not the student's native language. Computer science topics studied will be specified by the Module Coordinator to be appropriate to a second year Computer Science student at the University of Birmingham. Normally, a student studying in his or her native language will be expected to undertake 2/3 of the relevant year in that institution; a student studying in another language will be expected to undertake 1/3 of the relevant year. (These proportions include a substantial allowance made for necessary individual study, e.g. to meet different prerequisites or become proficient in the language of instruction.) | ||||||
| Outcomes |

| Assessment | Sessional: 80% will be based on marks from the host institution, 20% on a report. Supplementary (where allowed): Not normally possible. | ||||||
