Note that degree programmes are regularly updated and many of the details given here will change from year to year, or even more frequently.

Programme Aims & Outcomes
Each single honours and taught postgraduate degree programme has its own 'programme specification', which include its overall aims and outcomes. Joint honours degree programmes have a programme specification for the part of the programme taught by Computer Science; there is also an overall programme specification.
The Computer Science programme specifications are linked to the name of the programme in the tables below.
The School also has general aims and learning outcomes.

Professional Accreditation
The School's undergraduate degree programmes, where appropriate, have been designed to be compatible with the requirements of the British Computer Society (BCS) and The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET; formerly the Institution of Electrical Engineering, IEE), both members of the Engineering Council.
It is never possible to guarantee in advance that a degree programme will be accredited since this is determined by the professional society, not the School.
