Student Welfare
Sometimes problems do occur. As a School we are committed to providing student support for both academic and welfare problems.
We have three welfare tutors who provide a welfare session each day during which time any student can drop in and have a chat. You MUST inform the the welfare team if any special circumstances occur which might affect your ability to study. If you do not then it may be difficult to take these circumstances into account during the examination board meetings.
Please also see the section on welfare in the student handbook for details on what welfare can do for you.
The Welfare hours for the Autumn term 2012-13 are:
| Monday | Dr. Iain Styles | 14.00 - 15.00 | CS-109 |
| Tuesday | Prof. Ela Claridge | 12.30 - 13.30 | CS-139 |

| Thursday | Dr. Ata Kaban | 15.00 - 16.00 | CS-UG32 |

The Senior Welfare Tutor Dr. Iain Styles, office CS-109, is also available by appointment. Please contact him if you have any special needs requirements or wish to request a leave of absence.
