Any Xt XEvents are handled by looking for an action in the translation table which is specified for that event. ACTIONHOOKID [datatype] A unique identifier for an action hook procedure. An action hook procedure is called just before every action routine is dispatched by the translation manager. It is created by XtAppAddActionHook and has XtRemoveActionHook as a destroy action. ACTIONHOOKPROC [datatype] A POP action hook procedure. ACTIONLIST [datatype] Library to create XptData over vector or sim. ANGLE [datatype] An integer measure of rotation in 64ths of a degree APPCONTEXT [datatype] An application context record structure. Created by XtCreateApplicationContext, and XtWidgetToApplicationContext (if the application context was not previously registered in POP). Destroyed by XtDestroyApplicationContext. APPCONTEXTPTR [datatype] A pointer to an application context. Used by XtAppInitialize and XtVaAppInitialize. ARGLIST [datatype] A vector of pointers to Arg structures. An Arg is a string followed by an XtArgVal. An XtArgVal is something big enough to hold longs, pointers to things etc. ARGVARARGS [datatype] A variable length argument list. BOOLEAN [datatype] A POP BOOL! CACHETYPE [datatype] An integer of value XtCacheNone, XtCacheAll or XtcacheByDisplay. CACHEREFLIST [datatype] Pointer to vector of XtCacheRef structures. CALLBACKLIST [datatype] A vector containing vectors of procedure+argument. For example, {{^foo ^false}} is the callback list containing the procedure foo and the argument false. CALLBACKPROC [datatype] A POP callback procedure. CALLBACKSTATUS [datatype] An unsigned integer. CARDINAL [datatype] An unsigned 32 bit integer. CARDINALPTR [datatype] Library to create an XptData over a fixed Cardinal record CONVERTARGLIST [datatype] A vector of pointers to an XtConvertArgRec structure. COORDLIST [datatype] List or vector containing a multiple of N integers, where N is specific to an Xlib or Xpw drawing primitive. CURSOR [datatype] An XID, currently an integer, referring to a mouse cursor loaded using XCreateFontCursor. DESTRUCTOR [datatype] A POP destructor procedure. DISPLAYPTR [datatype] A pointer to a display. This is created by XtOpenDisplay, or implicit access procedure XptImportDisplayPtr. It is destroyed by XtCloseDisplay. Shell widgets are dependent on a particular display and this needs to be bore in mind when destroying them. FILE predicate [datatype] A file predicate procedure or false. FONT [datatype] An XID, currently an integer, referring to a font which is loaded in an X Server. FONTSTRUCT [datatype] An pointer to a structure containing X font data, including dimensions of each character, the fonts ID, and the minimum and maximum sizes of characters. GC [datatype] An XID, currently an integer, for a graphics context, which contains information about drawing styles used during almost all graphics operations. GCMASK [datatype] An unsigned long integer. Specifies which bits of a GC are to be set from the specified value structures. It's a bitwise XOR of one or more GC component bit masks. Used in XtGetGC GCVALUESPTR [datatype] Pointer to an XGCValues structure. GRABKIND [datatype] A POP integer converted with values between 0 and 2. HEIGHT [datatype] A (possibly short) integer; dimension in pixels INPUTCALLBACKPROC [datatype] A POP procedure that can be used as an input callback procedure. INPUTID [datatype] A unique identifier for an input source for an application. It is created by XtAppAddInput and has XtAppRemoveInput as a destroy action. INPUTMASK [datatype] A unsigned long integer. INTERVALID [datatype] A unique identifier for a timeout value. Created by XtAppAddTimeOut and destroyed by XtRemoveTimeOut. KEYCODE [datatype] A character. An integer between 0 and 255. MODIFIERS [datatype] An unsigned integer representing a set of keymasks. OPTIONDESCLIST [datatype] A vector of pointers to XrmOptionDescRec structures. PIXEL [datatype] An integer pixel value, referring to a colour in the colourmap of a window of an X Server. PIXMAP [datatype] An XID, currently an integer, referring to a drawable (graphics plane) held in an X Server, which is never mapped onto the screen. POPDOWNID [datatype] A unique identifier for a "popdown" widget. POSITION [datatype] An unsigned 32 bit integer. POSITIONPTR [datatype] A pointer to a Position. Used in XtTranslateCoords RESOURCELIST [datatype] A vector of pointers to XtResource structures. RESOURCELISTPTR [datatype] Library to create XptData over XtResourceList. SCREENPTR [datatype] Pointer to the "Screen" resource of a widget. Get from XtScreen and XtScreenOfObject. STRING [datatype] A string! STRINGLIST [datatype] A vector of pointers to null terminated strings SUBSTITUTION [datatype] A vector of pointers to SubstitutionRec structures. TIME [datatype] An unsigned long integer representing a certain time. TIMEPTR [datatype] A pointer to a Time. Used in XtCallAcceptFocus TIMERCALLBACKPROC [datatype] A POP procedure that can be used as a timer callback proc. TRANSLATIONS [datatype] EPTR to an event translation table, see XtParseTranslationTable. TYPECONVERTER [datatype] A POP type converter procedure. VALUEPTR [datatype] POINTER to an XrmValue. VARARGSLIST [datatype] A pointer to a representation of a varargs list. WIDGET [datatype] A widget record structure (returned by XtCreateWidget or XpwImportWidget) WIDGETCLASS [datatype] A widgetclass record structure (returned by XptLoadClass or XptImportWidgetClass) WIDGETLIST [datatype] A vector of pointers to Widgets structures. WIDTH [datatype] A (possibly short) integer; dimension in pixels WINDOW [datatype] An integer representing the XID of a window. You can obtain a widgets Window from XtWindow or XtWindowOfObject. WORKPROC [datatype] A POP procedure work procedure. WORKPROCID [datatype] Unique identifier for a work procedure. Created by XtAddWorkProc and XtAppAddWorkProc. Destroyed by XtRemoveWorkProc. X [datatype] A (possibly short) integer; Cartesian x coordinate XEVENTPTR [datatype] A pointer to an XEvent. XID [datatype] An integer referring to an X Server resource (window, graphics context, font, pixmap etc). Y [datatype] A (possibly short) integer; Cartesian y coordinate --- C.x/x/pop/ref/xpt_types --- Copyright University of Sussex 1990. All rights reserved.
