This REF file  details the procedures  that are suplied  by the  library
packages LIB * FAST_XT_POPUP and LIB * XT_POPUP  which provide a  Pop-11
interface to the X Toolkit Intrinsics related to "popup" widgets.

1  Introduction
---------------

The libraries LIB * FAST_XT_POPUP and LIB * XT_POPUP provides the Pop-11
interface to the X  Toolkit Intrinsics related  to "popup" widgets.  The
procedures  in  this  library  allow  the  following  functions  to   be
performed:

  # Creation of a popup shells.
  # Mapping/unmapping of popup shells.
  # Creation of "spring-loaded" popup shells.
  # Convenience callback procedures to map popup shells.

The  exact  structure  of  arguments  and  results  for  the   following
procedures is as discussed in REF * XTOOLKIT

XtCreatePopupShell(name, widgetclass, parent,                [procedure]
                   arglist, cardinal) -> widget
        Create  a  popup  shell.  ArgList   support  can  be  found   in
        LIB * XPT_GENERALTYPES (which is loaded by LIB * XT_POPUP)


XtVaCreatePopupShell(name, widgetclass, parent,              [procedure]
                     argvarargs) -> widget
        Create a popup shell - varargs format.


XtPopup(widget, grabkind)                                    [procedure]
        Popup specified  widget. Suitable  values  for grabkind  can  be
        found in INCLUDE * XT_CONSTANTS.


XtPopupSpringLoaded(widget)                                  [procedure]
        Map a spring-loaded popup shell from within an application.


XtCallbackNone(widget, popup, call_data)                     [procedure]
        Convenience callback procedure to map a pop-up with XtGrabNone.


XtCallbackNonexclusive(widget, xtpointer, call_data)         [procedure]
        Convenience  callback   procedure   to   map   a   pop-up   with
        XtGrabNonexclusive.


XtCallbackExclusive(widget, popup, call_data)                [procedure]
        Convenience  callback   procedure   to   map   a   pop-up   with
        XtGrabExclusive.


XtCallbackPopdown(widget, popdownid, call_data)              [procedure]
        Pop down a pop-up that has been popped up with one of the  above
        callback procedures.


XtPopdown(widget)                                            [procedure]
        Unmap a pop-up from within an application.

raw_XtCallbackNone                                                [vars]
        Variable containing  the  external C  procedure  XtCallbackNone,
        which can  be  used as  a  faster alternative  to  the  callback
        procedure fast_XtCallbackNone.


raw_XtCallbackNonexclusive                                        [vars]
        Variable     containing     the     external     C     procedure
        XtCallbackNoneexclusive,  which  can   be  used   as  a   faster
        alternative       to        the        callback        procedure
        fast_XtCallbackNoneexclusive.


raw_XtCallbackExclusive                                           [vars]
        Variable     containing     the     external     C     procedure
        XtCallbackEexclusive, which can be used as a faster  alternative
        to the callback procedure fast_XtCallbackEexclusive.


raw_XtCallbackPopdown                                             [vars]
        Variable containing the external C procedure  XtCallbackPopdown,
        which can  be  used as  a  faster alternative  to  the  callback
        procedure fast_XtCallbackPopdown.
