CONTENTS - (Use g to access required sections) 1 Introduction 2 LIB XT_POPUP 3 LIB FAST_XT_POPUP --------------- 1 Introduction --------------- The libraries LIB * FAST_XT_POPUP and LIB * XT_POPUP provides the Pop-11 interface to the X Toolkit Intrinsics related to "popup" widgets. The procedures in this library allow the following functions to be performed: # Creation of a popup shells. # Mapping/unmapping of popup shells. # Creation of "spring-loaded" popup shells. # Convenience callback procedures to map popup shells. The exact structure of arguments and results for the following procedures is as discussed in REF * XTOOLKIT For full details see chapter 5 of: X Toolkit Intrinsics - C Language Interface X Window System X Version 11, Release 4 Copyright (C) 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Digital Equipment Corporation, Maynard, Massachusetts. --------------- 2 LIB XT_POPUP --------------- XtCreatePopupShell(name, widgetclass, parent, [procedure] arglist, cardinal) -> widget Create a popup shell. ArgList support can be found in LIB * XPT_GENERALTYPES (which is loaded by LIB * XT_POPUP) XtVaCreatePopupShell(name, widgetclass, parent, [procedure] argvarargs) -> widget Create a popup shell - varargs format. XtPopup(widget, grabkind) [procedure] Popup specified widget. Suitable values for grabkind can be found in INCLUDE * XT_CONSTANTS. XtPopupSpringLoaded(widget) [procedure] Map a spring-loaded popup shell from within an application. XtCallbackNone(widget, popup, call_data) [procedure] Convenience callback procedure to map a pop-up with XtGrabNone. XtCallbackNonexclusive(widget, xtpointer, call_data) [procedure] Convenience callback procedure to map a pop-up with XtGrabNonexclusive. XtCallbackExclusive(widget, popup, call_data) [procedure] Convenience callback procedure to map a pop-up with XtGrabExclusive. XtCallbackPopdown(widget, popdownid, call_data) [procedure] Pop down a pop-up that has been popped up with one of the above callback procedures. XtPopdown(widget) [procedure] Unmap a pop-up from within an application. -------------------- 3 LIB FAST_XT_POPUP -------------------- fast_XtCreatePopupShell(name, widgetclass, parent, [procedure] arglist, cardinal) -> widget fast_XtVaCreatePopupShell(name, widgetclass, parent, [procedure] argvarargs) -> widget fast_XtPopup(widget, grabkind) [procedure] fast_XtPopupSpringLoaded(widget) [procedure] fast_XtCallbackNone(widget, popup, call_data) [procedure] fast_XtCallbackNonexclusive(widget, xtpointer, call_data) [procedure] fast_XtCallbackExclusive(widget, popup, call_data) [procedure] fast_XtCallbackPopdown(widget, popdownid, call_data) [procedure] fast_XtPopdown(widget) [procedure] As for the procedures in LIB * XT_POPUP, but without checks for valid arguments. These procedures should only be used in fully debugged programs. See REF * XTOOLKIT for full details of the POPLOG X naming conventions for non-checking and checking procedures. raw_XtCallbackNone [vars] Variable containing the external C procedure XtCallbackNone, which can be used as a faster alternative to the callback procedure fast_XtCallbackNone. raw_XtCallbackNonexclusive [vars] Variable containing the external C procedure XtCallbackNoneexclusive, which can be used as a faster alternative to the callback procedure fast_XtCallbackNoneexclusive. raw_XtCallbackExclusive [vars] Variable containing the external C procedure XtCallbackEexclusive, which can be used as a faster alternative to the callback procedure fast_XtCallbackEexclusive. raw_XtCallbackPopdown [vars] Variable containing the external C procedure XtCallbackPopdown, which can be used as a faster alternative to the callback procedure fast_XtCallbackPopdown. --- C.x/x/pop/ref/xt_popup --- Copyright University of Sussex 1990.
