Research
My research is concerned with combining shallow robust methods and deep reasoning approaches to Natural Language Processing to detect and understand concealed usage in texts. My working hypothesis is that methods in Word Sense Disambiguation can be used to detect such concealments in much the same way as these techniques have been used by the Textual Entailment community. The working title of my thesis is Improved Obfuscation Detection Using Shallow Robust and Deep Reasoning Approaches. Research reports on this topic will appear here as a write them.
