I am originally from Shoreham in West Sussex but I spent most of my childhood in France living in La Couture Boussey, Paris and Lille before moving to Aberdeen. I then moved to Edinburgh to study for my MA (Hons) in Psychology and Business Studies and my PhD both at the University of Edinburgh.
I now currently live in Birmingham. In my spare time I play squash, tennis and football. I also play lead guitar in a Blues band called Capital Blues and an Edinburgh based acoustic-electric guitar duo called Fletcher.
I have a passion for all things French and Scottish, holding a keen love of french cooking and single malt whisky. I also enjoy travelling, walking and cycling.
My main passion however is for music. I am an avid classic rock, blues and jazz fan.
