December 8-10, 2010, Shanghai, China
http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/~cxd/DCIA10/
in conjunction with the 16th
Intl' Conf. on Parallel & Distributed Systems (ICPADS 2010)
Digital computing
infrastructures, with tremendous capabilities, can support large scale network
enabled collaboration and computation. DCIA'10 focuses on recent innovations in
the field of digital computing technologies, such as innovative computing
paradigms like Cloud computing infrastructure and applications, cyber-physical
systems, and multi-core/many-cores platforms. DCIA10, supported by IEEE TCSC technical
area of Green Computing, aims to provide scientific researchers,
application developers, and users a forum to discuss the latest research
advances on digital computing infrastructures and applications.
DCIA10 will be held
in Shanghai, the largest city in China full of culture and scenery. The
workshop features prominent invited speakers as well as papers by top
researchers in these areas. The proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer
Society.
Topics of interest include,
but are not limited to:
v Networking systems
o
Wireless and sensor networks
o
Cyber-physical infrastructures
o
Trustworthy networked information systems
o
Convergence of control and communications
o
Ubiquitous and trustworthy information management
v Parallel processing and advanced
computing
o
High performance computing system, tools and
applications in multicore architectures, clusters, and Grids.
o
Design tools, Information model, and performance
modeling
o
Modeling & Simulation of large complex systems and
intelligent Systems
o
Data processing, analysis and visualization
o
Bioinformatics and Neuroinformatics
v Innovative computing paradigms
o
Advanced in Cloud computing
o
Data centric computing
o
Energy efficient computing
o
Data center computing middleware and services
o
Web information retrieval
The DCIA10 was
previously held as the
2008 IEEE International Workshop on Advances in Distributed Information
Processing (ADIP'08) and the 2009 IEEE
International workshop on Advances in Cyberinfrastructure (IWACI'09)
respectively. With the previous successful editions, we decided to hold the
workshop as a yearly event and rename it as the International Workshop on
Digital Computing Infrastructure and Applications. The new workshop extends
topics to adopt research on modern digital computing infrastructures, like Web
service and SOA, clusters, Grids and Clouds, Internet, and wireless sensor
networks. We hope to give new vision for digital computing environments and
applications. DCIA10 is supported by IEEE TCSC technical
area of Green Computing.
DCIA10 will be a
one-day scientific event and require single room for workshop organization.
