Me: I am a student at the School of Computer Science at The University of Birmingham (note the 'The'), and am now in my fifth year. I have obtained a BEng in Software Engineering and am now taking a PhD.

I am currently researching the evolution of identity management. My work develops device-based identity management in order to someday provide the ability to access all web services from a single security identity. Removing the need for usernames and passwords is the goal - keeping, and even improving security and privacy, is the problem. The problem space extends from distributing authentication between all user devices to providing a single, secure online profile which is accessable from all services. I am joint supervised by Rami Bahsoon of The University of Birmingham, Stephen Wolak and Steve Babbage of Vodafone.

I am also a tutor for FYW Java Group 7 and Design and Media.
