About Me:

Welcome to my home page. My name is Funmilade Faniyi. Feel free to call me 'Funmi' (pronounced : Foo-me) for short.

I am a research student in the School of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham, having previously obtained an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the School. My PhD is being supervised by Dr Rami Bahsoon

Research Interest: Design and Evaluation of Self-adaptive Software Architectures

In particular, cloud architectures capable of reducing service level agreement violations incurred by cloud providers. We often gain inspiration from concepts in artificial intelligence and socio-economics theories to address these software engineering problems. I am a member of the Software Engineering Research Group .

Teaching: In the second term, I am a tutor for the Java Software Workshop and Component-based Software modules.
