  • (September 2009 -September 2010): MSc in Computer Science, University of Hertfordshire, UK. (Distinction)
  • (2007 – 2008): Five master level Computer Science courses, The King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia (Stopped in 2008 due to getting scholarship of studying aboard in UK)

  • (2001-2004): BSc in Computer Science, Jeddah Teachers’ college with an excellent grade and my GPA is 4.65 out of 5 with the second class honours.

Course Work and Research Projects:
The following research projects were conducted as part of the Masters Program, 2007-2010:
1. Designing a simulation for “A Randomized Algorithm for Multiselection” by using Mathematica.
2. Designing a simulation for a load balancing approach based on coordinator and slave with automatic election.
3. Designing a simulation for a smart client.
4. Designing and implementing an adaptive e-assessment web application based on flexilevel approach.
5. Designing a usable e-commerce website interface with the emphasis on the accessibility.

Other Computing Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Java, C#, Perl.
  • Operating Systems: Linux, Mac OS, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP/Vista/ 7.
  • Proficient in web development using ASP.Net 3.5, PHP, CSS and XHTML.
  • Database systems: MS SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Familiar with web designing using Visual Studio 2008 and Photoshop designing.
  • Networking familiarity including router and switch configuration.

EMPLOYMENT AND EXPERIENCE:

  • (2011-2012): Demonstrator at the University of Birmingham, School of Computer Science for "Language and Logic" module.
  • (2005 – Current time): Demonstrator at the King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Saudi Arabia.
Duties involve:
1. Working at the information and technology centre (ITC).
2. An experience of teaching introductory courses and laboratories.
