Hector Basevi
I am a PSIBS doctoral researcher studying for a PhD based in the School of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham (room LG34).
My main supervisor is Dr Iain Styles. I am also supervised by Dr Hamid Dehghani, Prof Ela Claridge, and Prof Jon Frampton.
My research area is probabilistic image reconstruction. In particular, I am interested in integration of any available prior information into the reconstruction process, and the use of statistical techniques to better understand the results of reconstruction. I also have an interest in surface measurement techniques, and especially those that use structured light produced by a programmable light source.
