Welcome to My Homepage !
In The University of Birmingham, UK, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Mark Lee and Dr. Behzad Bordbar. The area of my PhD was Automated Software Modeling using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Model Transformation. My PhD research topic focused on robust processing and transformation of natural Languages to software engineering languages i.e. OCL. In my research, I investigated the use of natural languages as an interface to automate the process of writing OCL constraints for UML Models. The ued approach was based on Model Transformation technology to translate English text to the OCL constraints via SBVR (Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Rules). SBVR was used as an intermediate representation of English text to overcome inherent syntactic and semantic complexities of English language.
I am Assistant Professor of Computer Science at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. In 2006-07, I was a guest researcher at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, where I was working on a project funded by FCT. My other research interests are text mining, business process modelling and image processing.
