Submission Details

Submissions of papers to the workshop are made on the understanding that at least one author of each accepted paper will register and present the paper. As UKCI-02 is a workshop, submission of the same paper to a formal conference or an academic journal is acceptable.

Papers should be formatted using the UKCI-02 style which is given in the following documents:

Papers should be submitted as either postscript or PDF, must be no more than eight pages and should be send via email to:

ukci-submit@cs.bham.ac.uk Camera ready copies should be sent to the same address with the same covering details.

Please ensure that the file prints correctly as an A4 format document. Some systems, e.g. LaTeX/MS Print to File Dialog, allow the printed width and height of the document to differ from the formatted width and height of the text in the document). DVIps users should use the "-t a4" option. MS Word users should tick A4 on their print dialog. US letter and or legal formats will need to be reformatted and resent.

When submitting by email please give the following information in plain text in the body of the mail.

  • title of the paper
  • authors names and affiliations
  • a postal address, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers of the contact author.
  • abstract and keywords
If submitting multiple papers or if any of these details change, please send a note to ukci@cs.bham.ac.uk.
