I'm a PhD Student at the University of Birmingham, Computer Science faculty under the supervision of Dr.Mark Lee. My main research interest in Arabic ASR.

Description of My PhD thesis:

My research focuses on two main aspects. The first aspect is dialect resources, which are related to how to collect suitable corpora and build appropriate tools to output the multi dialect speech recognition system. This aspect relates to speech corpora, text corpora and PDs. It is also related to the helping tools such as the multi dialect morphology analyser.
The second aspect deals with the dialectic morphology related to two main areas. The first area is how the improvement of the language model will be reflected on the recogniser. The second area is the improvement on the PD which is also related to the dialectic morphology in certain ways.
