Who am I?

I have been at the University of Birmingham now for five years, first studing for my BSc in Computer Science, then an MSc in computer security. I have just started research towards my PhD under the supervision of Russell Beale.

I have a love of all things technical or shiny (most interesting things come under both headings). I also have a rabbit called Pancakes.

Research Topics

I am currently interested in a wide array of subjects. Most of them centre around Human Computer Interaction, virtual worlds of all shapes and sizes, and computer security.

I am currently looking into guilded navigation of virtual worlds and how agents (of varying intelligence) can be used to help people build up thier cognitive maps of the world.
