• [Nov. 26, 2016] I have moved to the University of Exeter as a Lecturer in Data Analytics. This website might not be maintained any longer. I will build my own Computational Optimization and Data Analytics (CODA) group later. Please find my new website later.

• [Oct. 25, 2016] One PhD studentship is available in my group at Exeter. This studentship belongs to the EPSRC DTP grant, so only UK/EU student is eligible for this application. More detailed information can be found from here.

• [Oct. 12, 2016] Our recent paper “Efficient Non-domination Level Update Method for Steady-State Evolutionary Multiobjective Optimization” has been accepted to IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics. Congratulations!

• [Sep. 1, 2016] I decide to post my latest research work, in the form of technical report, onto arXiv. They are usually submitted for the possible publication. I believe this is a good practise to timely share my progress to the state-of-the-art. You can find my arXiv repository from here.

• [Aug. 13, 2016] I will join the University of Exeter as the Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Data Analytics this December. I may have one fully funded PhD studentship as the start up. Highly motivated students are welcome to contact me for more details.

• [Apr. 13, 2016] Thanks very much for Prof. Yaochu Jin's invitation and generous accommodation. I had a wonderful trip at the University of Surrey and his NICE group.

• [Jan. 17, 2016] We are happy to release our ENLU work which has been submitted for publication. You can figure out what is ENLU from here, and you would like to try out the source code from my Github.

• [Jan. 7, 2016] The script of Pareto-optimal point sampling method has been updated where some bugs have been fixed. You can clone it from my Github, and please do feel free to let me know in case you find any further bug therein. And it is always welcome if you also want to join me to further develop this script.

• [Jan. 1, 2016] I decide to publish the source codes of my publications in Github. However, starting up such a movement project is not as simple as set up a Github account :) Now, my Github repository is kind of empty, I will finish this movement in an incremental manner.

2015

• [Nov. 6, 2015] I have moved my homepage to this Birmingham's domain, while the previous CityU's homepage will not be maintained any long and will be expired by the end of this year. Please update your address book to update my latest reserach!

• [Oct. 31, 2015] We have incorporated the source codes of C-MOEA/DD for handling constrained optimization problems into the source code file of MOEA/DD. It also contains the constrained optimization problems used in our paper.

• [Oct. 21, 2015] Due to a large volume of inquiries about the Pareto-optimal point sampling method for IGD evaluation in our recent TEVC paper, we decide to release the MATLAB script for this purpose. Please feel free to let me know if you meet any problem on it.

• [Oct. 16, 2015] I have been invited to serve as a PC member of EMO session in 2016 Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO’16).

• [Oct. 12, 2015] We are please to host a special issue about “Recent Advances in Semantic Computing and Personalization” on Neurocompting journal. The submission deadline is February 1, 2016, more information can be found here. You are very welcome to submit your great work to this special issue!

• [Jun. 11, 2015] A new version of our stable matching based selection has been accepted for oral presentation to SMC 2015. Mengyuan will presents our work in Hong Kong.

• [Mar. 31, 2015] The submission deadline for the 2015 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC 2015) has been extended to April 15. Please submit your current innovative results to it and have a festival at Hong Kong this October.

• [Feb. 25, 2015] Our recent paper “Evolutionary Multiobjective Optimization With Hybrid Selection Principles” has been accepted for oral presentation to CEC 2015. Prof. Kalyanmoy Deb will presents our work in Japan.

• [Feb. 24, 2015] I have accepted an offer from University of Birmingham, and will join Prof. Xin Yao's group as a research fellow this August.

• [May 22, 2014] Our paper “Adaptive Operator Selection with Bandits for Multiobjective Evolutionary Algorithm Based on Decomposition” has been Top 25 popular article of IEEE Transaction on Evolutionary Computation since its publication in Feburary, 2014.
