Monday Arrival

If you're arriving on monday then I'm planning to be in the Staff House Bar at around 7.30 till 8.45 and will then go for a curry in a nearby Balti house. You're very welcome to join me (but check into Mason Hall first!)

University of Birmingham

The Research Colloquium will be held in the Learning & Teaching Resource Centre (14b) on campus. This is directly opposite the School of Computer Science (14a) (and we'll have coffee etc. in Computer Science). Therefore please check the following directions

Getting to the Campus

If you're flying to Birmingham then you will arrive at Birmingham International Airport. You need to catch the train to Birmingham New St. (it takes 20-30 minutes) and then change trains for any train which goes to University (there are 4 a hour and it takes 10 minutes) You don't need to buy another ticket from New St.

If you're coming in by train then you will arrive at Birmingham New St.. Change trains for any which stops at University. (if you're lost, a taxi costs about 6 pounds).
