I worked for a number of years for Orange and previously The Link, but then saw sense and decided to free up my Sundays. Hence moving to Orange. It so happens that this has given me a big interest in mobile phones and mobile user interfaces, too.
You might have guessed from the above that my preferred flavour of music is rock, metal, and so on. I'm sure you're not interested in my preferred bands, but if for some reason you are, and you wanted to know, audioscrobbler/last.fm (click for my userpage) tells me I've been listening to the following rather too much:

Further to that, I am on facebook and I'm a tweeter, which are both just great for procrastination, but also quite good for keeping in touch.
I do a lot of reading, whether it's academic (security stuff), or fiction (mainly fantasy/sci-fi), and a lot of game playing. Current favourites include UT3, Portal and Half Life 2 (plus episodes)... usually a good excuse for procrastination.
Oh and on that note, I'm a big fan of web comics (seems to happen automatically to some CS students). In particular:
- Ctrl-Alt-Del. It's a classic.
- Penny Arcade. One of the original and best (in my opinion).
- PhD (Piled Higher and Deeper). Really epitomises PhD study at times!
- xkcd. Just brilliant.
- Questionable Content. Be warned - this comic is addictive.
