Currently I am doing my Ph.D. at The University of Birmingham in the School of Computer Science. My supervisor is Dr Volker Sorge.

In the beginning of my Ph.D. I was a java tutor with Dr Steve Vickers and Matt Smart. I stopped last year and this year I am starting again. It will be with Dr Peter Tino and Matt Smart. Also, I sometimes help with lab sessions and demonstration for some other programming languages related modules.

I started my research on the topic of face detection and recognition from document images. However, after several months this changed and I am currently focusing on rendering organic molecule images into a computer readable format.
