Description:
Under a double canopy of trefoiled arches under crocketed gables,
the Coronation of the Virgin. Below, under a trefoiled arch, the
abbot, half-length, holding a crozier, praying to left.
Dimensions:
Pointed oval, c. 60 x 38 mm.
Comments:
"Seals such as those from Bordesley ... seem likely on grounds of
style and design to have been made soon after 1307".

Description:
Abbatial seal of William Halford (1452-1490+).
The Virgin standing in a carved canopy, the child in her
left hand. On each side, suspended in a small niche, traced and
canopied, a shield of arms:
Left quarterly,
1, 4, five crosses crosslet in saltaire;
2, 3, ENGLAND, probably for Maud, daughter of Henry I, the founder;
Right a fesse between six crosses crosslet.
Dimensions:
