Assessed work

The assessed work associated with this module is designed to:

  • help you "firm-up" lecture material;
  • extend your knowledge and experience of Prolog;
  • understand how Prolog differs from procedural languages;
  • assess how well you are doing and take action to improve;
  • identify topics you find difficult and ask for extra help.

You will receive feedback in the form of:

  • a set of solutions for each tutorial sheet you attempt and submit;
  • comments that may be written on your work by the marker.

You are strongly encouraged to talk through your marked work with a demonstrator on a one-to-one basis in the labs so you can best understand what went right; what went wrong and what you need to complete your learning and the next tutorial sheet.

Assessed work contributes 20% of the total mark for this module.

Tutorial sheets are handed back within two weeks.
