Project Work

Introduction

During the course of the project, you are expected to undertake a literature review of the topic, so that you can present a statement of the current state of the art. You will find the relevant information in journals, in books, and on the World-Wide Web.

Posting to newsgroups on general issues is not allowed, as it causes irritation in the educated people who read them and results in wasted email and news traffic.

You are then expected to either:

• reimplement a classic or state of the art system using SNNS or other software tools
  or
  
• produce your own network(s) that address the same problem
  or
  
• isolate a sub-problem in the domain and apply neural networks to that
