A Message from Jimmy Medici,
Jess,
My plane out of JFK was late so I finally had time to look at your new UI proposal while gulping down a cappuccino in the BA lounge (they always use that shitty bitter coffee!).
The first thing to say is that I’m never ever going to see the default home page. When I log in, I go straight to a scorecard view in my portal. I assume that I’ll still be able to do this because I like to navigate up and down through the metrics and look at project details.
About half the time, that’s as far as I need to get, but when the fancy takes me, the next place I usually go is into performance manager and have a look down the strategy explorer view. It does seem to me that, since I’m not using the default home page, I now have to go up to the Start Menu and search through a pop up (actually drop down) menu to find the module to get to Performance Manager, whereas before there was an icon right in front of me (down the left) and all I had to do was click on it. You know, your i-nexus account manager told me this new version was going to make navigation easier and there’s a black mark against you right off the bat.
