About the blog...
This blog comments on any and all aspects of interactive systems and how they impact users and society. Nothing is sacred, many things are considered. We try at different times to be insightful, quirky, humourous, serious, different and imaginative: sometimes we succeed and often we fail.
This blog is typically updated once every couple of days with a story or an issue, sometimes more. It was originally started to support the HCI course we were teaching at the time, as a resource to highlight the range and impact of HCI on the modern world. We have continued with it out of professional and personal interest, and by popular request.
Please feel free to comment on things you read: our email addresses are available from our home pages.
There is both an RSS XML Atom and 2.0 feed for this page; please do use them, and we would appreciate a quick email note if you do syndicate us, link to us or refer to us.
As part of supporting the HCI course, the student blogs that are written during the duration of the course can be found from here - check out the links on the right
