You will need to show that you have an adequate knowledge of written and spoken English. The following qualifications will fulfil the University's minimum requirements:

Some other tests may be accepted as fulfilling the University's entrance requirements and further information about these is available from the English for International Students Unit. Information about English language tests is also available from British Council Offices. Applicants should be aware that many tests are held quite early in the year.
If you have been educated in the English language at an institution in a country where English is the first language, you may be exempted from the English language requirement.
