How to Apply for to be a student on MSc in Natural Computation


  1. Fill in online application form. Paper copy is available from the Admissions Secretary.

  2. Send copies of your Degree certificates and marks awarded to the Admissions Secretary

  3. If your first language is NOT English then you must demonstrate competence in English. You should send proof of your English competence (e.g., test results) along with your Degree certificates and marks awarded.

Competence in English

You will need to show that you have an adequate knowledge of written and spoken English. The following qualifications will fulfil the University's minimum requirements:

TOEFL550 (paper-based test); 213 (computer-based test)
IELTS6.0
GCE O Level EnglishGrade C
GCSE EnglishGrade C
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in EnglishGrade C
Cambridge Certificate in Advanced EnglishGrade A
NEAB Test in EnglishPass
Warwick University English Language TestBBB

Some other tests may be accepted as fulfilling the University's entrance requirements and further information about these is available from the English for International Students Unit. Information about English language tests is also available from British Council Offices. Applicants should be aware that many tests are held quite early in the year.

If you have been educated in the English language at an institution in a country where English is the first language, you may be exempted from the English language requirement.
