Module 06-00001 (2018)
LI Widening Horizons Module 10
Level 2/I
Semester 2 | 5 credits |
Outline
The Widening Horizons Module (previously known at the Module Outside the Main Discipline) is a module that can be taken alongside your main degree programme, allowing you to explore a different discipline during your undergraduate studies.
Aims
The aims of this module are to:
Undergraduate students are required to complete 120 credits each year of their degree programme, but in some cases, the home department will only provide students with 100 credits each year.
Students who are required to make the remaining credit up must register for a Widening Horizons Module (WHM). Not all students need to take a WHM. Please ensure that you have checked to see if your degree programme requires you to register for a WHM. A list of programmes that include a WHM element are available on the University website, but if your degree programme does not appear in the list it isn't a guarantee that you are not required to sign up for an WHM. If you are in any doubt, please contact your home department for confirmation.
