The final report must include a fully costed proposal for the development of a complete software product.

Outcomes

On successful completion of this module, the student should be able to:

  1. complete the design of a substantial piece of software to a professional standard, which may include the further development of prototype software
  2. work effectively and professionally in a team with full responsibility for the conduct and management of the project
  3. give an oral presentation of the work, together with a full written report
Assessment

Sessional: continuous assessment (100%).

Supplementary (where allowed): None; the module may only be repeated.

The continuous assessment consists of a formal presentation of the project work, together with written progress reports and a final report.
