My research interests lie in the integration of AI techniques in robots to create autonomous systems for challenging application scenarios. I am interested in AI techniques such as planning, inference, learning, and probabilistic reasoning, applied to the understanding of a robot’s environment and how spatial or conceptual changes occur in it over time, and the creation of task plans for single or multiple robots in dynamic environments. Using these techniques I work on applications such as long-term autonomy, service robots in everyday environments, mixed initiative control, and logistics.
