PLOGHELP VERSION Jonathan Laventhol, Jul 1983 Revised: Kathryn Seifert, Oct 1986 Revised: Adrian Howard, Aug 1991 Predicate which displays and adds "version" information on the current Prolog system. ?- version. ?- version(X). Keywords: system, version number The predicate version/0 displays the same message you got when you entered Prolog. For example: ?- version. Prolog (Version 3.0) yes The predicate version/1 is used to add more lines to the information displayed by version/0. For example: ?- version('My own Prolog version'). yes ?- version. Prolog (Version 3.0) My own Prolog version yes This can be useful when creating Prolog saved images (see PLOGHELP *SAVE). Giving version/1 an empty list is exactly the same as calling version/0. -- RELATED DOCUMENTATION ---------------------------------------------- PLOGHELP * SYSTEM Predicates which affect the way the Prolog system operates --- C.all/plog/help/version --- Copyright University of Sussex 1983.
